The Crag is a detached recently renovated Arts and Crafts property occupying a breathtaking cliff top setting in an acre in a hamlet on the Lizard Peninsula, the most southerly point in Britain. Housel Bay has a small sandy beach which can be reached at low tide. The popular beach at Kennack Sands, is 2 miles away. The area has a lot to interest children apart from the beaches. BT has a satellite station at Goonhilly, 4 miles away. There is a theme park, Flambards and the National Seal Sanctuary at Gweek, 6 miles.

There are uninterrupted 180 degree sea views from the house and a gate at the end of the garden opens on to the coastal path for spectacular walks to the fully operational Lizard Lighthouse and small visitor centre. There is a small family run hotel in Housel Bay which offers bar meals and a full restaurant menu for non-residents. The nearest pub, mini market, butcher and café are in Lizard village 1 mile away.

Sleeps 9 (7 adults + 2 children) - 4 bedrooms - 4 bathrooms

The ground floor has an open plan sitting and dining room with huge windows to make the most of the sea views and patio doors opening on to the sea facing terrace, wood burner, 42" flat screen TV with Sky, DVD and CD player and Broadband. Blue oak kitchen with black granite surfaces with electric range cooker, washing machine, dryer, dishwasher and breakfast table seating 4. Downstairs shower room and WC. Stairs to master bedroom with 6' bed, balcony overlooking the sea and en-suite shower room. Double bedroom with 5' bed and en-suite shower room with sea views. Double bedroom with 5' bed. Bedroom with bunk beds and a 3' single. Family bathroom with shower over bath. Please note that the accommodation is best suited to a maximum of 7 adults.

The large patio has comfy furniture for 9 guests and a Gas BBQ and faces the sea to take in the stunning sea view. An outhouse contains a games area with table football The garden is mainly laid to lawn with a second patio and tables and seating just ten yards from the sea!
